Cash Truck Demo: How a 1x Doubler Became 132x
Under a third of what Cash Truck pays comes from a bonus where values pile up on a locked board, and our session showed how long the base game can make you wait for it. Quickspin released the game in January 2022: 5 reels, 4 to 7 rows, ways pays, volatility 5 of 5 and a cap of 25,000x the bet. Its sheet lists three RTP models, 96.00%, 94.05%, 90.05%.
Is the 360x Cash Truck buy four times better than the 90x one?
Nothing published says so. The 360x option costs exactly four times the 90x one and adds one thing: a Doubler guaranteed to land on the second bonus spin. Quickspin gives no separate RTP for either. Our single 90x buy shows why the Doubler matters: one landed anyway, grew from 1x to 132x, and made most of the 173x the round paid.

Four rows to start, seven if the tumbles keep coming
Each spin starts with five reels of four open rows and three locked rows above them. Ways pay from the leftmost reel, a win is removed and refilled, and every winning tumble unlocks three random locked cells, so the WAYS counter over the reels climbs from 1024. In our 500 spins no spin had more than 8 tumbles, and 9 spins ended with all 35 cells open.

Line pays are modest: five Wilds or five hooded raiders pay 5x the bet on a single way, the bottle-cap symbols 0.6x. The Wild covers everything but the Bonus Scatter. Two scatters left after the tumbles start Second Chance, which clears every other symbol, unlocks three cells and drops a fresh fill around them.
Five hundred spins that never climbed back to the start
On 23 Oct 2026 our script played 500 spins at €1.00 against Quickspin's demo server. They returned €262.55 of €500.00, 52.5%. One spin in four paid (25%), the median win was 0.5x, and the worst dry patch lasted 18 spins. The balance never got back to €5,000.00, and spin 500 left it at its lowest, €4,762.55.

One spin carried the log. On spin 354 two Bonus Scatters set off Second Chance, the third arrived in the tumbles after it, and the spin itself paid 6.7x before the bonus added 68x, 74.7x in all. The other 499 spins returned €187.85. Second Chance fired 16 times and this was its only bonus, and spin 354 was also our only win of 15x or more, a size the sheet puts at 1 in 81 spins.
How the Truck Raider total is built
By the rules the bonus starts with 3 Cash Stacks at random, 3 spins, and every value shown as a multiple of the bet. A spin that lands any new symbol puts the counter back to 3, a blank spin takes one off, and nothing ever leaves the board. When the counter reaches zero the sum is paid; each scatter beyond three adds an Expander at the start.
Six specials work on that sum. The Expander unlocks three locked cells. A Booster adds its value to every other symbol once, a Super Booster on every later spin as well. A Grabber adds all the other values to its own, a Super Grabber again on each spin. The Doubler doubles itself every time the counter resets.
On spin 354 the natural round used three of them: a Grabber landed at 1x and grew to 15x by taking the other values, a Doubler reached 32x, and an Expander opened three cells. The top row of the board, still locked, carried 5x, 7x and 10x Boosters, a Super 15x Booster and a Super 1x Grabber in our bought round, and the server log lists the same five values for the natural one. The rules text does not explain that row, though its picture shows it.
One €90 raid, from 0x to 173x
In our media session we bought the cheaper option. The client asked once more, "THE BONUS GAME WILL NOW START WITH A BET OF €1.00 AT A TOTAL COST OF €90.00", and the balance dropped to €4,910.00.

Both the menu and rules page 12 price the second option at 360x; Quickspin's game page prints 350x, and we follow the game. That page also limits the buy to the 96.00% model. The demo runs 96.00%, the model the demo server runs, while casinos may run 94.05% or 90.05%.

Three Bonus Scatters landed, a banner named the TRUCK RAIDER BONUS GAME, and the client asked us to PRESS THE SPIN BUTTON TO START THE BONUS GAME. The counter above the board read 0x.

From 7x the counter crept to 16x before a 1x Doubler landed on reel 5. A second later it read 2x, because its own landing had reset the counter. Every reset after that doubled it: 4x after a 2x stack, 8x after a 3x Expander, 16x and 32x after two 1x stacks, the first in a cell that Expander had unlocked.

That Booster added 1x to all fifteen other symbols, the Doubler included, and the counter jumped from 56x to 71x. Its reset doubled the Doubler from 33x to 66x, 104x in all. A second 3x Expander then took it to 132x and the counter to 173x; its three new cells stayed empty and the spins ran out.

Of the 173x, the Doubler made 132x, about 76%, and the balance came back to €5,083.00. The natural round followed the same pattern on a smaller scale, its Doubler giving 32x of 68x.
Two trucks and a wolf, two of them at 90x
The sequel came in June 2023, added a sixth reel, raised the cap to 35,000x and priced its buys at 85x and 250x; our Cash Truck 2 review covers that game.
Big Bad Wolf Megaways (September 2021) also charges 90x for its only buy and also rates 5 of 5, with a largest simulated win of 30,540.35x.
Our advice before you chase the truck
Expect the base game to cost you. The sheet credits it with 66.82% of the return, yet the 499 spins without a bonus returned 37.6%, and the bonus showed up once. In our bought round the Doubler alone supplied 132x of the 173x. A single 90x buy that paid 173x proves nothing about the buy's long-run value, which Quickspin does not publish.
Short answers on the truck, the Doubler and the buy
From the rules, the sheet and our two rounds.
Does the Doubler double as soon as it lands?
In both of our rounds, yes. The Doubler landed at 1x and read 2x straight away, because landing a new symbol resets the spin counter to 3, and the rules double the Doubler on every reset. In the bought round it went on to 132x, in the natural one to 32x.
Can every row open in the base game?
Yes. Each winning tumble unlocks three of the 15 locked cells, and Second Chance unlocks three more. In our 500 spins at €1.00, 9 ended with all 35 cells open; the WAYS counter tracks it.
How often did the Truck Raider Bonus trigger for us?
Once in 500 spins, on spin 354, when the third Bonus Scatter dropped in after a Second Chance clear. The round lasted 18 spins and paid 68x, 74.7x with the trigger spin. The sheet gives no trigger rate.
What happens if the bonus reaches 25,000x?
The round stops there and pays 25,000x the bet; the rules call it Target Eliminated. That is also the largest win in the sheet's 100 million simulated spins. At the €40.00 top demo bet it would be €1,000,000.00.
