How much can the Quick Slot pay in Sticky Bandits: Wild Return?
Up to 500x the bet on one spin of the machine, for three 7s. Its pay glass also lists 80x for three horseshoes, 20x for three BARs and 8x, 6x or 4x for three, two or one cherry. A Quick Slot symbol on reel 5 of the base game gives 1 to 3 spins, and the rules print no total for a game. In our 500 spins the machine opened 10 times: nine games paid 36x between them, and the tenth, on spin 264, hit three 7s for 500x.

Bandits that take up two or three reels at once
The gang: a red-haired woman with a cigar, a bearded rifleman on green and a grey-moustached gunman on blue. Each lands as a single symbol, in a stack or as a Massive Symbol. Quickspin's page says "up to 3×3", and the help screens name the two sizes, 2x2 and 3x3. A massive bandit was in view on 167 of our 500 spins, never on reel 1.
Neither Quickspin's page nor its sheet prints lines or rows, but the BET LINES screen draws all 40 on diagrams five squares wide and four high, which settles the 5x4 board. Five red-haired bandits pay 10x, level with five Wilds; the gold coin in the frame is the Regular Wild, which stands in for everything except the Bonus Scatter and the Sticky Wild and, unlike the 2017 game's Wilds, never stays put.
A three-reel machine waiting behind reel 5
A small reel strip with a numbered gold coin, the Quick Slot symbol lands on reel 5 in the base game only. The rules award 1 to 3 spins on the machine, and the symbol below reads 3.
The machine is an old wooden cabinet with its prices painted on the glass. Every pay in our log came from the middle row of its window, and one cherry is enough to win.

The symbol came 10 times in our 500 spins, for 14 machine spins: seven one-spin games, two of two, one of three. Of those spins five paid nothing, eight paid cherries and one, on spin 264, paid the 777. The sheet assigns 17.62% of the RTP to an unnamed "Feature Game". As the only base-game feature with its own payout, the Quick Slot is the likely owner of that share (our reading, not Quickspin's wording).
Lucky shots and the seven free spins
The Bonus Scatter is a skull in a black hat over a BONUS banner. Where it may land, the rules leave open. In our log it appeared on reels 1, 3 and 5 only, so a trigger needs one on each, and all six of our triggers had exactly three.
In the round, any spin with a bandit on the reels fires a lucky shot at a random symbol. A bandit that is hit turns whole into Sticky Wilds, four for a 2x2 and nine for a 3x3, locked to the end; any other symbol hit becomes a Regular Wild for that spin. Our six rounds fired 32 shots in 42 free spins, never two at once.
On camera, the first free spin's shot found a 2x2 grey-moustached gunman, and that block never grew.
That filmed round came to €63.25, 63.25x the bet. In the six logged rounds, between 4 and 8 Sticky Wild positions were locked by the end, and that count did not settle the pay: spin 240 finished with 8 for 60.3x, spin 473 with 7 for 18.45x.
One 777 on spin 264 doubled the session
Spun at €1.00 on 3 Nov 2026, our 500 spins returned €996.15 on €500.00, 199.2%. Only 20.8% of spins paid anything. Half the wins were 1.35x or smaller, and once the reels went 28 spins without a win.

The balance sank to €4,941.40 on spin 227, free spins on spin 240 lifted it past the start, the 777 added €500.00, and rounds on spins 469 and 473 carried it to a peak of €5,511.70.
Split by source, the Quick Slot paid €536.00 (53.8% of the return), the free spins €235.65 (23.7%) and line wins €224.50 (22.5%). Without spin 264 the session returns 99.2%. Quickspin's sheet gives a 100x win a rate of 1 in 1,492 spins. We had one, and a sample of this size cannot test the 96.22%.
What the return changed from the 2017 robbery, and who it suits
Our Sticky Bandits review covers the first game, from August 2017: 5x5 with 30 lines. Wild Return keeps the 7 free spins and the Wilds that stay, but the trigger becomes 3 Bonus Scatters, the massive symbols are bandits now (in 2017 they were Wilds), and a Wild sticks only when a shot finds a bandit. RTP goes from 96.58% to 96.22%, volatility from 4.1 to 4.4, the top win from 968.33x to 1,145x. Neither game sells a bonus, and the Quick Slot is new.
Next came Sticky Bandits 3 Most Wanted, in May 2021: 5x3 with 9 lines, doubled free spin wins and the series' first buy, at 60x.
In Quickspin's portfolio this is the second of six Sticky Bandits slots. After Most Wanted the line went on with Trail of Blood in August 2022 and Unchained in January 2024, and its newest is Thunder Rail, from May 2025. A 2024 Sticky Bandits Roulette Live also exists, played at a live dealer's roulette wheel; it is not a slot.
Just 30.48% of the RTP goes to the free spins on the sheet, the rest to the base game and its feature. Seven spins with one shot at a time never left more than 8 Sticky Wild positions for us, and our rounds paid 18.45x to 61.05x. Its character comes from the Quick Slot, which opened once in 50 spins for us. With no bonus to buy and 1,145x as its top, it suits players who prefer small features often to one long wait.

Can the Quick Slot start during the free spins?
No. The rules give the Quick Slot symbol to reel 5 in the base game only, and none of the 42 free spins in our log showed one. What the machine pays is added to the line wins of the base spin that brought the symbol, as two of our ten games show.
Does a Regular Wild stay for the next free spin?
No. Only Sticky Wilds lock in place, and they come from bandits hit by a lucky shot. A shot that hits any other symbol makes a Regular Wild, which substitutes for everything except the Sticky Wild and the Bonus Scatter and is gone on the next spin.
Can Lucky Shot Free Spins be retriggered?
The rules mention no retrigger, and in our log no Bonus Scatter landed in any of the 42 free spins, so every round ended after its 7 spins. Each started from exactly 3 scatters, one on each of reels 1, 3 and 5.
Which bandit pays the most?

No cap is printed. 1,145x is the largest win in 1 billion simulated spins on Quickspin's game sheet, and the demo server reports the same figure from a far larger run. At the €100.00 top stake it would be €114,500.00. Our best was 500x, the Quick Slot's top prize.
