Sevens High Ultra Demo: One Fruit Machine, Two Sets of Maths
Sevens High Ultra · Quickspin · RTP 96.06% · max win 6,768x · checked on the demo server
Sevens High Ultra is Quickspin's August 2021 remake of its 2015 fruit machine, a 5x3 game with 25 lines whose first screen, headed CHOOSE GAME VERSION, puts two cards side by side, one for each version. The demo below is the studio's own build, free to play in the browser; registration and a deposit are not needed. Both versions keep the respin after every win and the Wild Meter that turns the blue, green and red sevens wild. Ultra raises the paytable, lets four or five scatters start 15 or 35 free spins and, by the game sheet, has volatility 5 of 5, an RTP of 96.06% and room for wins of up to 6,768x the bet.
What are the two modes in Sevens High Ultra, and which one did your spins use?
CLASSIC is the 2015 Sevens High: the same paytable, 10 free spins for three scatters and, on the demo server, an RTP of 96.54%. ULTRA keeps the reels, the respins and the Wild Meter but pays five Wilds 100x instead of 20x, adds 15 and 35 free spins for four and five scatters, and is the model the game sheet describes: 96.06% RTP, volatility 5 of 5, 6,768x at most. The client asks you to choose; all 500 of our logged spins ran in Classic.

Play opens at a €1.00 stake and a balance of €5,000.00, which makes every WIN amount on our frames equal to its multiple of the bet. On our Classic frames the word CLASSIC sits beside the logo, and a button under the reels, marked ULTRA there, switches version. The stake goes from €0.25 up to €100.00. The rules screens (version 1.1.1) print every pay in two columns, one per mode, but no RTP and no maximum win. Neither version has a bonus buy.

CLASSIC or ULTRA: one switch, two paytables
The version screen sums the difference up in a line each. Classic promises frequent wins and three scatters for free spins; Ultra promises three or more scatters and bigger wins, "up to a 5300x max win". Under the slogans the base game is identical in both. A win of any size earns a respin, a seven turns wild with every two wins in a row, and the first respin that pays nothing stops the chain.

What changes is the price of each line. At the €1.00 stake five Wilds pay €20.00 in Classic and €100.00 in Ultra, four pay €2.00 against €8.00, and three €0.80 against €1.00; the same rows apply to the gold WILD and to every seven once it has turned. Five plain sevens pay €2.00 or €4.00, five bells €1.60 or €3.00, five stars €1.60 or €2.00. The four fruits are the one row that never moves, at €1.00 for five and €0.12 for three in both columns.

The Classic column is the 2015 Sevens High paytable to the cent. The original's screens print it at a €2.50 stake (five Wilds €50.00, five sevens €5.00, three fruit €0.30), which works out to the same 20x, 2x and 0.12x. Quickspin's own page and sheet for the remake never mention a Classic mode; the client is where it shows.

Four or five disco balls only count in Ultra
The free spins rules are where the versions split most. In Classic, 3 Bonus Scatters always pay 3x the bet and start 10 free spins, and another three landing during the round add 10. Ultra keeps that line and adds two: 4 scatters pay 10x and start 15 free spins, 5 scatters pay 500x and start 35, with the same 15 or 35 again if they land inside the bonus. In both, every 2 wins turns a seven wild and grants 2 more free spins. Our Classic log shows the turned sevens staying wild to the last free spin; for Ultra only reviews say the same, while the rules and Quickspin's page leave it unstated.

Quickspin's page adds that in the remake the scatters "can land on any wheel". Our Classic spins show why that matters: in all 500 of them, and in our 500 spins of the original, the Bonus Scatter only ever appeared on reels 1 to 3, never more than one per reel, so three is the most a Classic screen can hold. We did not play Ultra and cannot confirm the any-reel claim from our own log.

The money moves too. On the Ultra sheet the respins account for 37.74% of the RTP, free spins for 29.67% and plain base-game wins for only 28.65%, so in Ultra the respin chains carry the largest share of the return. The original's sheet folds the respins into its base share and gives no such split.

One round was filmed whole, during a second Classic session we play only for pictures. It opened the way the rules say a Classic bonus must, with exactly three scatters on the first three reels.

The round started with 10 free spins, turned the blue, green and red sevens in turn and so ran to 16. On the last spin, wild green sevens filled reel 1 and two rows of reel 2, and the spin paid €2.40.
500 spins in Classic, and the original's 500 beside them
All 500 server responses of our session carried the field maxFeatureMode set to 0, and the server reports the Classic RTP, so we read the session as Classic play at €1.00. 160 of them paid (32%), and the median win was 0.8x. Of those winning spins, 120 stopped at the first respin, 40 had a second win to light the blue seven, 7 carried on to the green and one turned all three.
- 500paid demo spins at €1.00
- 32%of them paid something
- 17.12xbest single spin

That one was spin 249: an 11-win chain that had all three sevens wild after its sixth win, kept paying for five more respins and made 17.12x, our best result. The only free spins came on spin 347, three scatters for 10 spins, and just one of those spins paid, too few wins to turn a single seven; with the 3x scatter pay the round made 10.2x.
After the first spin the balance never climbed back to its starting €5,000.00; it sank to its lowest point, €4,746.04, on spin 498 and ended on €4,746.44, a return of 49.3%. Set that beside our session of the original, which runs the same paytable at a server RTP of 96.55%: 5 free spins rounds and a return of 122% over the same number of spins. Two samples of one set of rules ended that far apart, which is the clearest warning we can give against reading an RTP into 500 spins.
Three different answers to the top-win question
Across 300 billion simulated spins, the biggest win on the Ultra game sheet is 6,768x the bet. A record kept by the demo server says 5,387x, taken from 100 billion spins, and the version screen in the client promises up to 5300x. The sheet and the version screen tie their figures to Ultra; the server's record names no mode, and no Quickspin source says which version it belongs to. Nothing from Quickspin gives a separate Classic maximum, and the only simulated figure for that maths is the original's 811.32x. The sheet also prices Ultra's swings: a 100x win about once in 1,140 spins, against once in 1,862 on the original's sheet.
Only one other Quickspin title carries the Ultra name, Tiger's Glory Ultra, with the same Classic and Ultra switch. There the Ultra model lifts the RTP from 96.51% to 96.72% and the client offers bonus buys. Sevens High Ultra goes the other way on both counts: its Ultra RTP, 96.06%, sits below the Classic 96.54%, and neither mode has a buy.
Which button to press
Classic is the original game in a newer frame, and it suits long, quiet sessions: the paytable is the 2015 one, the free spins start from three scatters only, and the top end is modest. Ultra is the version with a reason to exist. Its five-Wild line is worth 100x, a five-scatter landing pays 500x before the 35 free spins even start, and the sheet's 6,768x ceiling is more than eight times the original's. You pay for that with a lower RTP and a volatility of 5, the top of the sheet's 1 to 5 scale. Both columns sit side by side in the rules.
Six questions about the Ultra remake
Our sources here are the client, the Ultra sheet and our two logs.
Does Quickspin itself say Sevens High Ultra has a Classic mode?
Not on its game page or game sheet, which describe only the Ultra maths. The client does: its first screen asks you to pick one of two version cards, the logo reads CLASSIC while that mode runs, and the rules print a separate pay column for each. Reviews such as Bigwinboard and SlotCatalog describe the same switch.
Which mode pays back more, Classic or Ultra?
Classic, by the published figures. The demo server reports 96.54%, the figure reviews give for Classic, the mode all our spins ran in; the game sheet gives Ultra 96.06%. That is the reverse of Tiger's Glory Ultra, where the Ultra model has the higher RTP.
Is the top win 6,768x or 5,300x?
The game sheet says 6,768x, the largest win in 300 billion simulated Ultra spins, and every listing we checked repeats it. The demo server reports 5,387x from 100 billion spins, and the client's version screen says up to 5300x. The sheet is the fullest source, so we use its figure.
Can four or five scatters land in Classic mode?
The Classic rules only describe three. In our 500 Classic spins, and in 500 spins of the 2015 original, the Bonus Scatter appeared on reels 1 to 3 and nowhere else, so a fourth has nowhere to land. Quickspin's page says that in Ultra they can turn up on any reel.
Is there a bonus buy in either mode?
No. Classic play shows no buy button, the demo server's data for the game hold no buy option, and neither Quickspin's page nor its sheet mentions one. Free spins start from Bonus Scatters alone, three of them or more.
When was Sevens High Ultra released?
In August 2021: SlotCatalog, AboutSlots, casinos.com and Bigwinboard all give 24 August 2021. Quickspin's game page carries an earlier date, May 2021, from before the launch. The original Sevens High came out in 2015.
