How long does a Blue Fortune respin chain last?
Until a respin adds nothing. A win locks and the other squares spin again, and each new symbol that completes or extends a line locks too and earns another respin. When one adds nothing, the game pays the board a last time and stops, so even the shortest chain pays its win twice. In our 500 spins 42 of 87 chains ended after one respin, 26 after two, and the longest ran 6.

Northern Sky's design, moved under the sea
Quickspin's page calls Blue Fortune a refresh of Northern Sky, and the sheet says it is based on that game's proven design. The reels sit by a sunken ship under an octopus. Four named pirates, Roger, Scarlet, Pegleg and Salty, are the high symbols, three skulls the low ones, and a blue chest marked BONUS is the Scatter. Line wins count from the leftmost reel, and only the highest one per line is paid.
Parts of that page and sheet still call the game Blue Treasure, and the page promises free spins with "the highest paying animal symbols"; the title, the Game ID and the in-game rules say Blue Fortune and pirates.
Every win is paid once more when the chain stops
The Re-spin Feature pays on every step, not only at the end: each respin pays every line on the board, old and new, and when a respin adds nothing the rules have the game "pay a last time". All 87 of our chains ended on that repeat, so the 42 that lasted one respin paid their opening win exactly twice.
Short chains are the rule. After the 42 one-respin chains came 26 of two, 10 of three, 7 of four and 2 of six; none stopped at five. Had each win been paid once, on its first screen, our base game would have returned €60.60. The respins made it €329.70.
The two six-respin chains show how far a small start can go. Spin 294 opened with €0.20 on one line and finished with all 9 lines paying, €13.10 in all; spin 360 went from €0.40 to €19.10.
A three-slot meter that fills across respins
Bonus Scatters, by the rules, are not bound to lines, do not trigger respins and appear in the base game only; each goes into the BONUS meter, and 3 in a single game round start the free spins. A round includes its respins, which matters: none of our 500 first screens showed three. 116 showed one and 8 showed two, 7 of those pairs without a win to start a respin.
Both of our bonuses were built during respins. Spin 218 had no Scatter on its first screen, one on the first respin and two on the second; spin 480 had one on its first screen, none on the first respin and one on each of the next two.
No skulls in the bonus, only four pirates
The rules say it plainly: "Free Spins are played with the high paying pirate symbols only." No free spin screen in our log held anything but Roger, Scarlet, Pegleg and Salty. The round lasts 10 spins and, by the rules, cannot be retriggered.
Four symbol types did not make every spin pay: 11 of our 20 free spins paid nothing. The round on spin 218 made €21.50, €16.50 of it on one free spin; the round on spin 480 made €33.00, with €14.00 on its fourth spin.
A second media session supplied this clip, reaching the bonus on its 397th spin. The free spins added €4.00 to the €0.40 the triggering chain had paid, 4.4x for the round.
Base-game chains returned six times what our two bonuses did
The log covers 500 spins at €1.00, played on 25 Oct 2026, and a 76.8% return. 17.4% of spins won, every one of them through a respin chain, and the driest stretch lasted 31 spins.

Chains paid €329.70 and free spins €54.50. The sheet credits 71.33% of the RTP to the base game, respins included, and 25.24% to free spins; with two bonuses in 500 spins ours came to 10.9% of the stake against the base game's 65.9%.
The top win is one figure in two roundings: 3,111x on the sheet from 1 billion simulated spins, 3,111.5x on the demo server from 10 billion. A 100x win, by the sheet, comes once in 1,214 spins.

Why is a single €0.20 line credited as €0.40?
Because every chain ends with a repeat. After a win the other squares respin; if nothing new joins a line, the rules have the game "pay a last time" before the feature ends, so the opening win is paid twice. In our log 42 of 87 chains did exactly that, spin 21 among them.
