Ghost Glyph Demo: Haunted Clusters on the Golden Glyph Engine
Ghost Glyph, Quickspin's cluster slot of September 2020, is set outside a haunted house. Clusters of 5 or more pay on a 7x7 grid and tumble away. Each win leaves a Ghost Glyph behind, and every glyph that joins a later win charges one of five Ghost Urns; the fifth opens the free spins. On Quickspin's sheet the RTP is 96.18%, volatility 4 of 5 and the simulated maximum 2,260x.
What did Quickspin change between Golden Glyph and Ghost Glyph?
Mostly what sits on top of the engine. The 7x7 cluster grid with tumbles, a special Wild after each win and five charged features per spin, the last starting the free spins, all carried over. Power-Ups on a golden wheel became Ghost Urns, and a green urn that turns one low symbol into another took the place of Blaze of Fire. In the free spins a Paranormality Meter sets whether Massive Wilds land at the end; Golden Glyph levels up a multiplier Wild instead. The top simulated win fell from 13,185x to 2,260x.

Built on the Golden Glyph pattern
Golden Glyph came out ten months earlier with the same grid, clusters from 5 and tumbles, and it too drops a special Wild into a gap after each win, a Power Wild there and a Ghost Glyph here. Either Wild plays once and charges the next of five features, which fire in order on screens without a win. When the fifth opens the free spins, says quickspin.com, leftover glyphs turn into plain Wilds.

Paytables part ways. The three crystals pay most and the four gold coins (web, skull, moon, star) least, all coins alike. Five blue-white crystals return €1.50 and 15 or more €600.00, against €1.00 and €250.00 for the falcon god of the older game.
Urns that rework the grid before blue
Each spin draws the first four urns from three colours. Yellow spawns 4 to 10 Wilds at random, and red removes every copy of one low-paying symbol. Green turns every copy of one low symbol into another low type, which can merge two small groups into a cluster.

Yellow matches the older game's Golden Scarab. Eye of Horus there also hits one low symbol but pays for each copy, while our red urns were credited €0.00 for the 5 to 11 symbols they took.
Outside the free spins our non-blue urns fired 56 times: red 22, yellow and green 17 each. Spins in which one fired, 25 of them, paid €121.50 of the base game's €234.50.
Five glyph wins in one spin, before the row is drawn again
Charges do not carry over: the row is drawn again before each spin, so blue needs five glyph wins inside one chain of tumbles. In our log 28 spins charged an urn, three stopped on four (spins 225, 326 and 413) and three reached blue, after tumbles worth €13.25, €9.25 and €9.25.

Only the help screen counts the free spins, at 8; the game page and the sheet give no number. All three of our rounds began with 8. A blue urn inside adds 3 or more: one round gained 3 and ran to 11. The older game starts with 9.

What the Paranormality Meter adds to the last screen
Every tumble in the bonus feeds the Paranormality Meter, and 8 tumbles fill a level. From level 1, Massive Wilds land when the spins run out: two 2x2 Haunted Wilds at level 1, one 3x3 Colossal Wild at level 2, and from 3 to 22 one more move per level before the Colossal Wild disappears.

The demo server reports the meter on each free spin. In the bonuses of spins 187 and 472 it stayed at 0, and those free spins added €2.25 and €3.50. The one from spin 392 reached level 2, and on the final screen a 3x3 Colossal Wild joined clusters of all seven symbols for €152.50, 12 blue-white crystals worth €70.00 among them.
We filmed a natural bonus on media spin 95 at €1.00. On the trigger spin the urns fired green, red, yellow, green and blue, and the tumbles had paid €8.50 before the screen announced 8 free spins. The first two of them paid nothing. On the third the Haunted Wilds badge above the grid lit up, the row ran through to the blue urn, and +3 ADDITIONAL SPINS made it 11 in all. With the counter at 0, two 2x2 Haunted Wilds landed; that screen and one tumble paid €25.75, taking TOTAL WIN from €24.25 to €50.00.
Golden Glyph's multiplier Wild, by contrast, gains 1 for every tumble it joins and keeps it to the end. No multiplier appears in these help screens, and the meter pays only on the last screen.
Our hit rate fell short of both Quickspin figures
Paying spins came up 27.4% of the time in our 500 at €1.00 on 28 Oct 2026, below the 31% on quickspin.com and the 33% in the sheet's introduction, and dry spells never passed 12 spins.
- 500paid demo spins at €1.00
- 27.4%of them paid something
- 180.75xbest spin, free spins round included
- 3free spins bonuses triggered
Bonuses returned €209.00 with their trigger spins (15.5x on spin 187, 180.75x on spin 392 and 12.75x on spin 472), base spins €234.50. The final screen of spin 392 alone paid €152.50, roughly a third of what the session returned.
Four urns charged on spin 413, the best base spin at 21.75x: green turned 12 coins into another type, a 15-coin cluster paid €15.00, and blue never lit.
Almost the same RTP as Golden Glyph, split another way
The two sheets' RTPs differ by 0.01 points, yet plain base-game wins return 34.54% of the stake here against 30.45%, and free spins 36.05% against 38.10%. The tomb's top simulated win, 13,185x, is over five times this one, and the sheets give the chance of 100x as 1 in 1,139 spins there, 1 in 1,204 here.
Pick the ghosts for urns that rework the low symbols and a bonus that hangs on its closing screen, the tomb for a multiplier Wild that grows all round and a far higher ceiling. Neither game sells its bonus.
Red urns, leftover glyphs and other loose ends
Each answer names its source.
How many free spins does the Blue Urn give?
Eight to start. The number comes from its help screen, which adds 3 or more for every blue urn inside the bonus; the game page and sheet leave it out. Two of our rounds stayed at 8 and one grew to 11.
Does the Red Urn pay for the symbols it removes?
Not in our log. It fired 22 times in the base game and took 5 to 11 copies of one low symbol each time, all credited at zero. Any money on those spins came from cluster wins.
Why does Quickspin call it medium volatility and rate it 4?
Both labels are Quickspin's: the game page and the sheet's introduction say medium, the sheet's table prints 4 out of 5, and we use the table. Two of our three bonuses ended at 15.5x and 12.75x.
Do glyphs left on the grid do anything when a spin ends?
Only if the blue urn fires in that spin: then, per quickspin.com, every glyph still on the grid becomes a Wild, and the spin gets no new glyphs after that. Otherwise a glyph counts only when it joins a win.
Which top win is right: 2,000x, 2,200x or 2,260x?
2,260x, the biggest win Quickspin found in 100 billion simulated spins. The 2,000x in the sheet's introduction and the 2,200x on quickspin.com are rounded. No cap is stated, and our best spin was 180.75x.
