Mine & Melt Demo: Three Swedes and a Mine of Nuggets
Quickspin released Mine & Melt in March 2023: a 4x4 grid with 256 ways. Before the reels stop, reels 2 to 4 can turn into Wild Miners carrying x2 to x4, and three or four Bonus nuggets start a bonus played on lives, where only Collector and Smeltdown symbols land. The game sheet rates the default model 5 of 5 and puts its largest simulated win at 5,504x the bet.
How long do the lives last in a Mine & Melt Bonus Game?
Until 3 respins in a row land nothing, or 4 in the Super Bonus Game, since this bonus runs on lives and has no free spins. Three Bonus nuggets start the Bonus Game with 3 lives, four start the Super Bonus Game with 4. Each respin uses a life, and only two symbols can land: Collector nuggets, worth 2 at the start and paid at their value times the bet when the round ends, and Smeltdown tiles, which multiply every Collector by x2 (x4 in the Super Bonus). Any landing restores the lives in full.

Wild Miners fill whole reels and multiply each other
The Three Lucky Swedes are the base-game feature. Each of reels 2, 3 and 4 can turn into a Wild Miner, one figure filling the reel with a random x2, x3 or x4 on it, which stands in for every symbol except the Bonus nuggets.
How two or three Wild Miners combine is not in the rules. Our best spin, 449, answered it. With x3 on reels 2 and 3 and x2 on reel 4, each of the four symbols on reel 1 paid at 18 times its paytable value, so the numbers multiply: a four-of-a-kind worth €5.00 came to €90.00, and the spin to 153x.
That frame works out as two ways, each a four-lantern win of €2.50 doubled. Wild Miners are rare, though: only 21 of our 500 spins showed any, 16 with one, 4 with two and one with three. They carried x2 on 23 reels, x3 on 3 and x4 once. Those spins paid €224.00 between them in the base game, against €101.75 from the other 479.
Every respin costs a life, and any nugget buys them all back
The nuggets can sit anywhere on the grid, and once they trigger, everything else on it clears.
In both of our natural rounds the three nuggets that triggered the game became the first three Collectors where they lay, each worth 2, so the total opened at x6. When two Collectors of equal value touch, a random pair merges into one worth double. A Smeltdown multiplies every Collector on the grid and every one that lands later.
Two labels mislead. The box under the bonus grid that counts lives is titled FREE SPINS, and the sheet calls the bonus share of the RTP Free Game, 35.67% of the 96.09%. Both mean these respin rounds.
Three spins paid 67.4% of our return
The return on our 500 spins at €1.00 was 106%. Of those, 30.4% paid, and half of the wins came to 0.5x or less. Base spins paid €325.75, including 14 pairs of Bonus nuggets at €2.00 each, and the two Bonus Games €204.00.

Spin 207 ran 19 respins with one Smeltdown and eight merges and paid 60x from seven Collectors. The second round, spin 409, came with the balance at its low of €4,787.50. It landed a Smeltdown on its first respin and another on the 26th, and after 34 respins seven Collectors worth 144x stood on the grid, three of them at 32. With the Wild Miner spin, the three came to 357x.
The sheet's odds for a 100x win are 1 in 931, and we had two in 500 spins. No spin showed four nuggets, so the Super Bonus Game never came, while 103 spins showed one.
60x buys three nuggets, 330x buys four
Both purchases work from the base game only and pay for a spin with at least that many Bonus nuggets, so a 60x purchase can land four and open the Super Bonus Game, though Quickspin does not say how often. It prints no RTP for either buy; AboutSlots, SlotCatalog and casinos.com give 96.35% and 96.59% for the 96.09% model. Some markets may not offer the feature.

We paid 60x, which left €4,940.00 on the balance, and the spin landed exactly three nuggets, so it opened the ordinary Bonus Game.
That round ran 38 respins by the server's count. The total had reached x34 when an x2 Smeltdown landed and doubled every Collector.
From there the lives ran out at x84, and the round paid €84.00, 140% of the price.

Lives work the same way in Cash Truck 2: three of them, and any landing restores all three. Its Truck Raider Bonus costs 85x to buy, against 60x here.
Choosing the game by the number of Bonus symbols is how Big Bad Wolf: Pigs of Steel works too, and it charges 60x for its Bonus Game. Its Super Bonus Game, sold as the Improved Bonus Game for four or more Bonus symbols, costs 240x, against 330x here.
The money in Mine & Melt sits in two rare places, Wild Miner spins and nugget rounds: 21 of one and two of the other in our 500 spins. Outside them the base game pays in small amounts. A few natural three-life rounds in the demo show what a 60x purchase buys.

Can the 60x purchase open the Super Bonus Game?
Yes. Quickspin words the buy as a spin that awards at least as many Bonus symbols as were bought, so three bought can come up as four, at a rate it does not publish. Ours landed exactly three and played the ordinary Bonus Game on 3 lives.
Do several Wild Miners add or multiply their numbers?
They multiply. Spin 449 in our log had Wild Miners of x3, x3 and x2 and paid every way at 18 times its value, where adding would have given x8. The help screens only say that each Wild Miner carries a random x2 to x4.
What do two Bonus nuggets pay?
The paytable gives two Bonus symbols €2.00 at a €1.00 stake, twice the bet, as a scatter pay wherever they land. A pair showed on 14 of our 500 spins and was paid each time; three nuggets start the Bonus Game instead.
How many respins did your Bonus Games run to?
The rules set no limit, since lives refill on every landing. Our three rounds ran 19, 34 and 38 respins, the last one bought, and paid 60x, 144x and 84x: the longest was not the best.
