Pearl o' Plinko - Fire & Bones Demo: From Ship Graveyard to Fire Island
Pearl o' Plinko - Fire & Bones · Quickspin · RTP 98.10% · max win 243.6x · checked on the demo server
Pearl o' Plinko - Fire & Bones came out in April 2025 as Quickspin's second plinko game and the sequel to Mermaid Cove. It has no reels. You pick a stake for each ball and drop 1 to 100 pearls from a clam onto a peg board where treasure chests and whirlpools wait. The window below loads Quickspin's own build for free, with no registration or download, running a top model of 98.10% and volatility 1 of 5. In Quickspin's simulation of 100 million balls, none paid more than 243.6x its bet.
Which parts of Mermaid Cove did Fire & Bones keep, and which did it drop?
The base board stayed: the same pyramid of pegs, pockets from 0.3x to 5x a ball, two 0.2x chests, a 0.1x gate, a Re-Launcher pot and two whirlpools, plus the bet per ball, the 1.5x Extra Bet and the 98.10% top model. The Portal Gates went. Both bonus boards are new, Ship Graveyard and Fire Island, the second buy costs 12x instead of 7x, and the best simulated ball now pays 243.6x, where Mermaid Cove's stopped at 199.6x.

Ten pearls wait in the clam when the client opens, each carrying €0.10, so TOTAL BET reads €1.00 under the boards on our frames and in the video. Our 500-round log dropped one ball per round at €1.00 instead. Because labels count in bets per ball, a 5x pocket is worth €0.50 on screen and €5.00 in the log.

Reading the base board from clam to pot
In the rules' terms a chest is an Award Pocket: it ends the ball's run and pays its label. Falling through the blue wave, an Award Gate, pays as well, and the ball carries on down. The two whirlpools count as Bonus Pockets. At the foot sits a striped pot, the Re-Launcher, and any ball it catches sends three new balls back to the clam.

Most balls fall down the middle, according to the rules, and the large labels are placed out at the edges. Our log fits that picture: of the 701 balls that fell on the base board, 358 ended in one of the two 0.2x chests, and the 5x corners took four.

The pot pays nothing itself, yet it caught 67 balls and re-launched three for each. In one round this turned a single ball into 13 on the base board.
Fire Island sits behind Ship Graveyard's whirlpools
Ship Graveyard is the first of two bonus boards on the pirate map, and it takes every whirlpool ball once the rest of the drop has finished. Its chests run from 0.3x to 10x, beside gates of 0.1x and 0.5x, its own pot and three whirlpools, and the rules promise bigger awards further along the map.

Those whirlpools lead to Fire Island, which the server calls "volcano": in our log no ball got there any other way. That happened in six of 55 Ship Graveyard visits, with eight balls in all.

Its labels run to 13x, and our balls collected 1x gates and pockets of 2x, 5x and 10x. On round 6 the Ship Graveyard pot turned one ball into 16, and two of them reached Fire Island for €11.00. More often the trip was short: 34 visits paid less than the €1.00 the ball had cost, and the 10x chests never caught a ball.
55 trips to the graveyard in 500 balls
Every round of the log, 500 of them on 3 Nov 2026, was a single €1.00 ball counted together with whatever it set off, re-launched balls and bonus boards alike. Whirlpools caught 57 balls. Ship Graveyard opened 55 times, because two or three balls of one round play one bonus game together.

From €5,000.00 the balance slid to €4,866.00, a return of 73.2%. All of them paid something, yet the median was exactly 0.2x, and 258 rounds paid that much and no more.
The base board paid €247.10, or 49.4% of the stake, near the 47.59% the sheet gives it. The bonus boards fell short, Ship Graveyard with 14% against 27.33% and Fire Island with 9.8% against 23.18%.
Three balls of round 94, the best of the log, reached whirlpools. On Ship Graveyard they became 18, two of them went on to Fire Island, and that board alone paid €14.00, for 25.6x across the round. Among rounds that never left the base board, round 59 paid most, at 5.5x.
Bonus buys at 4x and 12x the whole bet
The buy lives in a treasure-map badge on the left, marked BONUS €4 at a €1.00 bet. One price, a multiple of the total bet, pays for the whole drop, and each loaded ball starts on the board you bought.

| Option | Price | At €1.00 |
|---|---|---|
| Ship GraveyardAll your balls launched straight into the first Bonus Game | 4x | €4.00 |
| Fire IslandAll your balls launched straight into the second Bonus Game | 12x | €12.00 |
Paying €4.00 loaded 10 balls on Ship Graveyard, and its pot re-launched enough of them for the end card to count 19.

None of them found a whirlpool, so Fire Island stayed out of reach, and the round came back €4.08, a few cents above its price. The help screens add that the buy levels on offer can differ from market to market.
Cheaper than either buy, EXTRA BET costs +€0.50 on a €1.00 bet and adds one more Bonus Pocket. We left it off in every round.
A calmer board than any slot here, with a dearer last stop than Mermaid Cove
Both Pearl o' Plinko games share the 98.10% top model and the rating of 1 of 5. Big balls come more often here: Quickspin's sheet puts a ball of 100x or more at 1 in 13,681, where Mermaid Cove needs 1 in 56,304. The last stop costs more too, 12x for Fire Island against 7x for Mermaid Cove's second board.
Our window plays at 98.10%. Operators can take the game at 94.19%, 92.07% or 84.21% instead, and on that lowest card the cut comes out of the bonus boards, which keep 12.27% and 8.29% while the base board's share rises to 63.65%. Mermaid Cove's lowest card, 87.15%, leaves 44.23% on its base board.
Among the reel slots, the lowest rating on our list belongs to Dog Town Deal, 2 of 5, and its top win is 1,213.5x the bet against 243.6x here.
Fire & Bones is for someone content to watch pearls bounce for modest returns. Half our rounds handed back a fifth of their cost and no more. The money sits in the whirlpools, above all on the last board: the six Fire Island trips in our log paid €49.00, against €69.90 from all 55 Ship Graveyard visits.
Plinko questions a slot player tends to ask
Each reply was checked against version 1.0.0 of the help screens, Quickspin's sheet or our server log.
Is there a Portal Gate anywhere in Fire & Bones?
No. The help screens list the Ball Launcher, pegs, Award Pockets, Award Gates, Bonus Pockets and Re-Launchers, and none of our 500 rounds logged a portal. Mermaid Cove has them, on its last bonus board only.
How many balls can one drop hold?
Up to 100. The counts on offer are 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 80 or 100, with 10 set when the client opens. The stake per ball runs from €0.10 to €100.00, and the total bet is that stake times the number of balls.
Can one round pay more than 243.6x?
Yes. 243.6x is the most one ball paid in Quickspin's 100 million simulated balls, counted in bets per ball, and a round of 10 balls at €0.10 has 10 such chances, plus any re-launched balls. Our best single-ball round reached 25.6x.
How do you get to Fire Island without buying it?
A ball must first reach Ship Graveyard through a base-board whirlpool, then fall into one of Ship Graveyard's three whirlpools. In our log six of 55 Ship Graveyard visits went on, and Fire Island paid €49.00 of our €366.00 return.
Does Extra Bet change the pocket values?
The help screen says it adds a Bonus Pocket for 1.5x the bet, €0.50 more on a €1.00 total, to raise the chance of a bonus game. It says nothing about other values, Quickspin prints no RTP for it, and we left it off.
Why did a game rated 1 of 5 lose a quarter of our stake?
Five hundred balls is a short sample for a game that books over half its RTP to the bonus boards. The base board returned close to its share, the two boards far less than theirs; six Fire Island trips were too few to even out.
