Dog Town Deal Demo: Two Cards, Twenty Lines and a Ladder
Land two Card Scatters in Dog Town Deal and they turn over into a blackjack hand, paid from 1x the bet at 16 to 15x at 21. Quickspin set this April 2023 release (5x3, 20 lines) in a New Orleans casino basement. Three to five scatters start 7, 10 or 15 Top Dog Free Spins, where finished hands climb a ladder to 1,000x. Its default model pays back 96.15%, with volatility 2 of 5 on the sheet.
What does a Dog Town Deal hand of 16 or more pay?
In The Deal, two Card Scatters flip over and are added up as in blackjack, aces at 11 in our log. Under 16 the cards pay nothing. From 16 the column left of the reels sets the prize: 16 pays 1x the bet, 17 2x, 18 3x, 19 4x, 20 5x and 21 15x. Our 500 spins dealt 30 hands; 18 reached 16 and paid €55.00 between them.

Sixteen or better turns two card backs into cash
Two Card Scatters, no more, start The Deal. The rules text only says that a hand of 16+ wins a multiple of your bet; the multiples are printed beside the reels and drawn in the rules picture, and the server paid every one of our Deals by that column.

That is a Deal every 17 spins or so, worth 11% of our stake, and on 16 of the 18 paying spins the cards were the only win. The jump comes at 21, which spin 499 hit with an ace and a jack.

In the free spins, line wins deal the cards
Inside Top Dog Free Spins a line win of 3, 4 or 5 of a kind deals 1, 2 or 3 playing cards into a hand. A spin deals by its longest win only, so four three-of-a-kind lines still bring one card. The screens never say so, but it held on all 29 free spins we played.

Line wins keep their paytable value, €0.50 for three chips up to €120.00 for five Wilds, and came to €60.50 across our three bonuses.
One step for 16, two for a Charlie, three for blackjack
Each finished hand moves a marker up the Multiplier Ladder. A 5 Card Charlie means five cards without passing 21; a bust earns no step, and the sheet says its cards are discarded. If the free spins end mid-hand, the Dog Town Deal feature spins on until the hand is done.

The rungs read 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 30x, 40x, 50x, 75x, 100x and 1,000x the bet. Despite the name, the ladder never multiplied a line win in our log: the rung reached was paid once, as its own prize, at the end.
Our three natural bonuses finished eleven hands: eight of 16 or more, two Charlies, one bust, no blackjack. A 21 of three or four cards counted as a plain 16+ hand, and both Charlies (16 and 17 on the fifth card) climbed two steps, not three.
Where the 98.8% came from
Base-game lines brought €308.50 of it, Deals €55.00 and the three natural bonuses €130.50. The 500 spins were logged on 27 Oct 2026 with €1.00 on each. Of those, 28.8% paid, and the median win came to 1.75x.

- 76xbest spin, free spins round included
- 3free spins bonuses triggered
Spin 324 came straight after the session's low, €4,960.50, and was its best: twelve spins, six rungs, 40x on top of €36.00 in lines. The spin-30 bonus stopped at rung 4 (20x) and the spin-382 one at rung 2, its last hand bust.
Across the three, the ladder paid €70.00 and the lines €60.50. Nothing reached 100x; the sheet puts that at one spin in 5,737.
Paying 50x the stake to skip the scatters
The gold sign opens a single card, free spins that start with three or more scatters. By the rules it can only be bought from the base game, and some markets may not offer it. Quickspin has published no separate RTP for the purchase.

| Top Dog Free Spins, 3+ Card ScattersBase game only: starts the free spins with 3 or more Card Scatters | 50x | €50.00 |
Our €50.00 round landed three Card Scatters, on reels 1, 2 and 4, for seven free spins, and five hands were finished in it. A jack and a king made 20 for one step, then an ace and a queen of clubs brought the BLACKJACK banner and three steps at once. Two hands of 17 followed, a king with a seven and a six with an ace. A lone two was still in hand when the seventh spin ended, so the Dog Town Deal feature added four spins until an eight and a jack took it to 20. Seven steps left the marker on 50x: MULTIPLIER LADDER 50.00 lifted TOTAL WIN from €20.50 to €70.50, which is 70.5x the bet for a round that cost 50x.
Next to the other low-rated Quickspin slots here
Quickspin's sheet rates the default model 2 of 5, lower than any other game with a volatility rating on this site. Its odds of a 100x win are 1 in 5,737 spins, longer than any game here except The Wild Chase (1 in 6,403). Treasure Island, rated 2.7, gets there once in 3,981.
Like Flip Royale, it comes in three RTP versions: 96.15% in the demo, and 94.19% or 87.15% at a casino that picks a lower one. The server's simulations top out at 1,213.5x, the sheet's at 1,213x.
In this card room the counting matters more than the reels. Our bonuses paid more through the ladder than through the lines, and the Deal dropped a small prize about once in 28 spins.
Asked at the card table
Most of these are gaps in the rules screens, so the answers lean on our server log.
Does a Deal hand under 16 pay anything at all?
Not for the cards. Twelve of our 30 Deals came to 15 or less, and the scatter prize was zero each time. Line wins on the same spin still pay as usual.
Do the ladder steps multiply free spin wins?
No, not in our log. The ladder pays its own lump sum after the last spin, and ours came to 10x, 20x and 40x the bet for rungs 2, 4 and 6, while every line win kept its paytable value.
What happens to a hand that goes over 21?
The game sheet says going bust discards the cards; the rules screens are silent. Our one bust, 9, 6, 8 for 23 in an extension spin of the spin-382 bonus, added no step, and that round closed at rung 2.
How many extra spins can the Dog Town Deal feature add?
As many as the last hand needs; ours added one, two and five. The spin-324 bonus ran to 12 spins because two extension spins finished a hand and dealt the first card of a new one.
