Sakura Fortune 2 Demo: Free Play, Buys and 500 Spins

Ways, paytable and the Sakura Wild respin

A way pays when matching symbols sit on adjacent reels from reel 1 rightwards, and only the highest win per way counts. Three rows on the outer reels and four on the middle ones make the 576 ways. At €1.00 the amounts on the rules screen double as multiples of the stake.

The Sakura Wild appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and stands in for every symbol except the Sword Scatter. When one lands, every Sakura Wild in view may nudge to cover its reel. Each wild that fills its reel locks and awards one respin, so two full wild reels mean two.

Our log shows how much hangs on that nudge. In 26 of 500 paid spins a Sakura Wild covered a full reel, and those spins produced five of the 8 wins of 10x or more, including the best, 97.2x on spin 478. Two of the other three were free spins rounds.

Sword Scatters and the 9 to 11 Fortune Free Spins

Once three Sword Scatters land on the middle reels, they lock and reels 1 and 5 respin with only Sword Scatters until a pass adds nothing or five are in view. The final count sets both the number of spins and the wilds locked from the start.

Neither outer reel added a fourth, so that round began with 9 spins. Inside the bonus every Sakura Wild nudges to fill its reel, sticks until the end and adds one spin. Lock three and all wins are multiplied by x3; since the wild only lands on the middle reels, that means reels 2, 3 and 4 all wild at once.

In the clip the wild arrives late in the round and holds reel 2 to the end.

Both natural rounds in our 500 spins followed the same script: three Scatters, 9 spins, one wild locked on reel 2 for a tenth, no multiplier. They paid 24.2x and 20.7x. The natural round we filmed later also stopped at one locked wild, yet paid twice what the bought one did.

What 500 paid spins at €1.00 looked like

We logged 500 spins at €1.00 on Quickspin's demo server on 21 Oct 2026. 26.4% of them paid something, the median win was 1.2x and the longest losing run lasted 19 spins. The balance sank to €4,893.15 by spin 477; the very next spin paid 97.2x, and the run closed at €4,983.65, 96.7% of the stake back.

Read this as a diary, not a measurement. The game sheet puts a win of 100x or more at 1 in 1,640 spins, and we logged none. The two free spins rounds paid 44.9x between them, about 9% of everything the session returned. The demo server runs the 96.03% model; Quickspin also supplies 94.11% and 90.15% versions, and a casino may use either of those.

The three bonus buys: 55x, 70x and 320x

Prices on the three cards move with the bet. The cheapest guarantees three Scatters, and the outer-reel respin can still add more. The middle card starts with four Scatters, so 10 spins and one locked Sakura Wild; the top card with five, so 11 spins and two locked wilds, one short of the x3 multiplier.

Quickspin's game page says the buy runs only in the 96% version and lists buy RTPs of 96.24%, 96.44% and 96.72% without pairing them with the cards. The rules add that it may not be available in all markets.

We bought one round with the 55x card for the video. It landed exactly three Scatters and paid €28.30, roughly half its price: one purchase says nothing about the buy's long-run return, only how far below cost a round can finish.

Sakura Fortune 2 against the original and two other Quickspin slots

The April 2017 original in our Sakura Fortune review plays 40 lines on a 5x4 grid, volatility 4.83 and a recorded top win of 1,182.5x. The sequel trades lines for ways, sits at the top of the volatility scale and lifts the recorded maximum to 19,664.8x. The first game has no bonus buy; the second has three.

On paper the closest match is Big Bad Wolf Megaways: volatility 5 as well, the same three-model approach (96.05%, 94.11%, 90.19%), a single buy at 90x and a recorded maximum of 30,540.35x.

For an Asian theme without any buy, Eastern Emeralds runs on 20 lines with multiplier wilds and volatility 5.

Where Sakura Fortune 2 fits

A game of quiet stretches broken by full-reel wilds. Most of our good moments came from a Sakura Wild filling a middle reel, and all four bonus rounds we saw stopped at one locked wild, far from the x3 board. The demo teaches that rhythm for free; the buy menu shows what a shortcut costs.
