Sticky Bandits Trail of Blood Demo: Sheriff Badges That Stay

Five Wilds, one to a reel, and a named bullet under each

There is no scatter. Each reel carries its own Wild, a portrait in a gold WILD frame, and by Quickspin's page all five work alike: they replace every other symbol, and three or more anywhere on one spin start the bonus. Under the reels sit five bullets with names scratched in: MAYOR, BANKER, SHERIFF, SALOON SALLY and DEPUTY.

As a symbol, a Wild pays 1x for two on a line, 2.5x for three, 15x for four and 300x for five. Below them the revolver pays 75x for five, the knife 40x, brass knuckles 30x and the fire bomb 20x, with the Ace top of the card ranks at 10x. Five revolvers, two of them Wilds, gave our biggest base win: 75.5x on spin 104.

Wilds were not spread evenly in our 500 spins: the reel 5 Wild showed on 50, the reel 3 Wild on 16. On 344 spins no Wild landed, 133 had one, 20 had two, and only three had three, each of which started the bonus.

Ten spins to start, one more for every Wild after

Wilds that start the round turn into gold sheriff badges spattered with red and stay where they landed until the last spin. Every Wild that arrives later sticks as well and adds one Revenge Free Spin, so the round has no fixed length.

Here the two Quickspin sources part: the game page gives 14 spins for five Wilds (the sheet prints no spin counts), the client's rules (version 1.4.0) print 15, as AboutSlots and casinos.com do.

All three of our natural rounds began with three Wilds and 10 spins. Spin 167 picked up two more Wilds and ran 12, spin 202 none and stopped at 10, spin 368 three and ran 13. In the media session, the natural round we filmed added one and ran 11.

The Trail of Blood, which the game page calls a Blood Line

One line of the rules covers it: "Sticking Wilds to an entire line triggers a Trail of Blood", worth 300x the bet per locked line on every Revenge Free Spin that follows. Quickspin's page calls it the Blood Line: one Wild on each reel along a win line. Locked early in a long round, it is where the largest wins come from.

We never saw one. The media session came nearest, on the top row.

Reel 4 stayed empty, and the round paid €98.10. In our log, spin 368 opened with Wilds on the top row of reels 1 to 3 and lines of Wilds alone paid €52.50 over its 13 spins, but no Wild reached reels 4 or 5.

What the BONUS €100 bottle sells

Neither Quickspin's game page nor its sheet mentions a buy, but the client has two cards, both titled BUY THE REVENGE FREE SPINS FEATURE. By the rules, the bought spin lands 3+ or 4+ Wilds "with the same frequency as when triggering it by chance" and that the buy may not be offered in every market.

Neither card has an RTP from Quickspin, while SlotCatalog and AboutSlots list 96.36% for the cheaper and 96.68% for the dearer. We bought the €100.00 card once. Its paid spin landed Wilds on reels 3, 4 and 5 with a €11.00 line win, and the client announced 10 Revenge Free Spins.

Six Wilds arrived during the round, so it ran 16 spins instead of 10.

Reel 2 never got a Wild, so no line could lock. The round returned €130.10, 130.1% of its price, and a single purchase cannot show the buy's long-run return.

Small hits all session, then one round on spin 368

Our stake over the 500 spins at €1.00 on 3 Nov 2026 came to €500.00, and €521.00 came back, 104.2%. Wins came on 40.6% of spins, but the median hit was 0.6x, less than the stake, and no losing run lasted more than 10 spins.

The balance touched its low, €4,945.50, on spin 100, four spins before the 75.5x revolver line. Revenge Free Spins followed on spins 167 (43x) and 202 (20.2x), and spin 368 paid 150.1x, lifting the balance to its peak of €5,107.30.

Leave out what the trigger spins paid themselves and the free spins brought back 39.1% of the stake, set against 32.32% on the sheet, with 65.1% for the base game, set against 63.91%. Take away spin 368 and the session falls to 74.2%. Quickspin's odds for a 100x win are 1 in 1,235 spins, and that round was our one.

Fourth of six, with Reel Nightmare's numbers

In the second game, Sticky Bandits: Wild Return (5x4, 40 lines), Bonus Scatters started 7 free spins and a Wild stuck only when a lucky shot hit a bandit. Here the scatter is gone, every Wild sticks and each one lengthens the round.

The third, Sticky Bandits 3 Most Wanted, arrived in May 2021 and used the same 5x3 board with 9 lines, 12 free spins at 2x and one 60x buy. Trail of Blood adds a line, drops the multiplier and sells two buys, and its 17,279.5x top sits below Most Wanted's 22,468x on the demo server. Two more have followed it: Unchained in January 2024 and, latest so far, Thunder Rail in May 2025.

The closest match on this site is outside the series. Reel Nightmare, from July 2024, has five reel-specific Wilds, the same Revenge Free Spins and a 300x line, and its sheet prints the same default RTP and split, the same 17,279.5x top and the same 100x odds; the demo server charges the same buy prices. It also has a 92.07% model that Trail of Blood lacks. Quickspin calls neither a version of the other.

Trail of Blood suits players who will sit through many small returns for a rare large one: the bonus came three times in 500 spins, and the ceiling rests on a line of badges that none of our five rounds completed. Try the 100x card in the demo before judging the buy.
