Sticky Bandits Unchained Demo: Three, Four or Five Wilds

A chained Wild that pays 75x and starts every bonus

Gold-framed, lettered WILD BONUS and wrapped in chains, the Wild substitutes for every symbol and pays 75x for five on a line, 10x for four, 2x for three. Its count on one spin, in any positions, chooses the bonus, and our log counted 162 of them in 500 spins, landing on all five reels.

Behind the Wild come four portraits. The red-lit preacher in a wide hat and collar pays 25x for five, the woman with a red fan 20x, the bearded man with a hammer 15x and the horse 10x. Studded letters fill the low end, from 5x for five aces to 2x for five jacks.

The rules draw all 10 lines on three-row diagrams, paying from the leftmost reel. A casino guide that gives the game 30 lines in its text has it wrong.

Three Wilds buy ten spins, four or five buy time until the Cylinder

In all three rounds every Wild that lands sticks until the end, and one of the trigger Wilds becomes a sticky 2x2 Colossal Wild. In the bought round it showed a dark-haired woman with a shotgun.

Both times the 2x2 covered two of the three trigger Wilds, and the third did not carry over (reel 5 on spin 12 of our log, reel 3 in the bought round). The 10 Wild West Free Spins have no Cylinder and no multiplier.

The Peacemaker Bonus (four Wilds) and the Peacemaker Fully Loaded Bonus (five) give "infinite" free spins, and only there can a Cylinder symbol land, anywhere on the reels. It ends the round and puts a multiplier on the wins of that final spin. The smaller Cylinder holds 5 chambers, four with x2 bullets and one with a special bullet of x3, x5 or x10, against 6 in the Fully Loaded one (three x2, three special of x20, x50 or x500). How the bullet is chosen, the rules do not say.

Quickspin gives no trigger odds for the three rounds, and its sheet only books 35.31% of the 96.09% to the bonus games together. Of our 500 base spins, 141 showed one Wild, 9 showed two and one showed three. Four or five never came.

A MAX CAP screen in the rules says a total win of 30000 times the bet ends the Peacemaker Bonus and pays exactly that. Every RTP model shows the same 30,000x. The 96% sheet gives it as once in 21,993,515 simulated spins, which reads as the odds of reaching the cap and says nothing about how long Quickspin's simulation ran.

One bonus on spin 12, then 488 spins downhill

On 3 Nov 2026, at €1.00 a spin, our 500 paid spins returned €335.40 on €500.00 staked, 67.1%. We hit a win on 32.8% of them, where the sheet says 34.5%. The median win was 0.6x, and the longest run without one lasted 15 spins.

The trigger, spin 12, put three Wilds in the bottom row of reels 2, 3 and 5, paid €1.20 in line wins and left the Colossal Wild on rows 2 and 3 of reels 2 and 3. Two more Wilds stuck on reel 5 during the round. The tenth free spin was the best at €22.70, €20.00 of it from a line of two fan women and three Wilds, and the whole round paid €69.55. Counting the trigger, spin 12 came to 70.75x and took the balance to its high of €5,061.35.

Beyond spin 12 the line slopes down. The best base wins, 20x each, were fan-woman lines on spins 54 and 456, the second of them two spins after the low of €4,829.50 on spin 454; the session closed at €4,835.40. Take spin 12 away and the return drops to 52.9%, which shows how little a sample this short can say about the 96.09%.

Three prices for a guaranteed number of Wilds

Each buy pays for one spin that is sure to land a minimum of Wilds. The 80x option guarantees three or more, so it can still open either Peacemaker round. At 160x the floor is four, which rules out the Wild West Free Spins; 750x lands five and always opens Fully Loaded. Some markets get only part of this menu.

The cheapest option went through once in the media session, after a dialog that put the total cost at €80.00 for free spins at €1.00.

Reel 3 stopped with a third Wild in its top row, the floor of this buy, so the round was 10 Wild West Free Spins, filmed with sound.

No other Wild stuck in the filmed round, so every win ran through the same four squares.

The purchase paid €37.85, 37.85x the bet, against a price of 80x. Our natural round, at 69.55x, also came in under that price. Quickspin prints no RTP for the buys.

Where Unchained sits between Trail of Blood and Thunder Rail

The series began with the original Sticky Bandits of August 2017, a 5x5 game whose free spins hold their Wilds in place.

Wild Return (August 2019) added massive bandits and a Quick Slot, and Most Wanted (May 2021) the series' first buy.

Nearest in design is Sticky Bandits Trail of Blood from August 2022, with the same 5x3 board, 10 lines, volatility 5 of 5 and free spins started by counting Wilds. There the count only sets the length, 10 to 14 spins. Unchained lets it choose between three rounds, adds the Colossal Wild and the Cylinder and lifts the top from 17,279.5x to 30,000x. Trail of Blood sold two buys, at 100x and 400x.

The newest, Sticky Bandits Thunder Rail, came in May 2025. Our Thunder Rail review covers its grid that grows from 5x4 to 7x7 and a Train Heist bonus that runs on lives, with no free spins at all. With a top win of 10,000x there, Unchained keeps the highest ceiling of the six. Sticky Bandits Roulette Live, from 2024, is roulette run by a live dealer and sits outside that count.

The x500 bullet and the 30,000x cap belong to the Peacemaker rounds, which need four or five Wilds on one spin, and our 500 spins reached neither. It suits players who can sit through long dry stretches waiting for a Cylinder, and the 160x buy is the cheapest sure way to see one.
