Golden Glyph 3 Demo: Chaos Clusters Meet the Power Glyph
Golden Glyph 3 · Quickspin · RTP 96.11% · max win 10,000x · checked on the demo server
Seven reels of 5 to 9 symbols replace the square grid in Golden Glyph 3, Quickspin's September 2023 follow-up, and the studio's demo below lets you try it without registration or download. Clusters form from matching symbols that only partly touch. Power Glyphs fire Power-Ups, while the free spins bring a Golden Glyph Wild that starts at x2 and doubles on each retrigger. The default model returns 96.11% at volatility 5 of 5. Any win that reaches 10,000x the bet ends the round.
Does the Golden Glyph multiplier in Golden Glyph 3 have a limit?
Not on its own. The jewel starts every free spins round at x2 and doubles each time the Scarab Bonus Power-Up fires again (x4, x8, x16 and on), and the help screen calls the multiplier unlimited. The limit sits on the win: once a round reaches 10,000x the bet it stops and pays exactly that. Four of the seven bonuses in our 500 spins doubled once, to x4, and none reached x8.

The square tomb gives way to reels of five to nine
Every reel stops with its own count of 5 to 9 symbols, drawn larger where there are fewer. Our first screens held anywhere from 40 to 56, and not one of 500 showed seven on every reel. SlotCatalog's FAQ calls the game 7x7, a shape none of them matched.

Quickspin's Chaos Clusters, first used in Azticons Chaos Clusters, deal with the odd edges. Symbols "only need to be partially connected", so a cluster can step up and down from reel to reel. The paytable runs from 5 symbols to 15 or more, and at €1.00 the red Horus pays €2.00 for five and €100.00 for 15+.

Gigantic Wilds, a storm, a bomb and a swap, then the scarab
Each winning step leaves one Power Glyph at random in the cleared space, and it substitutes for everything but the jewel. A Power Glyph that joins a win charges one more icon of the column. Charged icons wait until nothing more pays. Then the bottom one fires first and the column drops, so the Scarab Bonus, always the seventh, is always last.
Four kinds fill the first six slots. Gigantic Wilds turns a whole reel into one Wild, and A Storm of Wilds drops 2 to 4 Wilds at random. Destruction removes a number of low symbols. Transformation picks a random symbol and turns every symbol connected to it into the same one. In our base game Destruction fired 37 times and took 8 to 16 symbols, against 30 firings for Gigantic Wilds, 27 for the storm and 26 for Transformation, which turned 2 to 8 symbols.

Most spins never got that far. Of ours, 458 fired nothing and paid €97.00 between them. Another 35 base spins fired some Power-Ups without reaching the scarab, and those paid €157.20.
x2 at the start, doubled only by a retrigger
Firing the seventh Power-Up starts 6 free spins, and by the help screen no new Power Glyphs appear for the rest of that spin. From the first free spin the jewel, a pink scarab in gold wings, sits on the reels. It never tumbles and moves between spins, and unlike the older Glyph jewels it does not grow with wins. Only a fresh Scarab Bonus inside the round adds 2 spins and doubles it, which takes all seven Power-Ups within one free spin.

Quickspin's intro promises "an unlimited multiplier", and the rules print no top value, so only the 10,000x cap on the round's win holds it back. Our filmed round from media spin 8 opened with €12.70 from the trigger spin and played its 6 spins at x2. The last of them retriggered and alone paid €33.80. Both spins at x4 added nothing.
A closing screen totals spins and money, retrigger included.

Seven bonuses in 500 spins, and the doubling paid least
Staking €1.00 a spin, our log of 500 from 3 Nov 2026 came back to €496.00, which is 99.2% of what went in. Spins paid 29% of the time and the median paying spin returned 1x, but dry spells ran to 17.
- 500paid demo spins at €1.00
- 29%of them paid something
- 52.2xbest spin, free spins round included
- 7free spins bonuses triggered
Three of the seven bonuses came within 26 spins (51, 62 and 76). Together the seven paid €241.80 of the total, and a good share of that was earned before any free spin. Reaching the scarab needs seven Power Glyph wins, and the trigger spins paid 7.2x to 18.9x, €90.50 between them.
Retriggered rounds, four of them, averaged 45.5x against 20x for the three that did not retrigger. Yet the money came from the retriggering spins themselves, €80.20 at x2, and the 17 spins played at x4 afterwards paid only €21.10 in all.
Best of all was spin 252 at 52.2x, which pushed the balance up to €5,067.50, the session high. The session's low, €4,957.00, fell on spin 489, and the next spin brought the last bonus, worth 46.8x. We closed the session on €4,996.00.
One card at 65x the bet
The coin sells only the free spins, and the help screen says a bought round plays like one won by chance. Quickspin prints no return for the buy. SlotCatalog and AboutSlots give 96.50%, a figure we cannot check against a studio source.

| Option | Price | At €1.00 |
|---|---|---|
| Free SpinsStraight into Free Spins: 6 spins with the Golden Glyph Wild starting at x2 | 65x | €65.00 |
Our €65.00 purchase began with a paying spin of its own, €4.00, before the 6 free spins. On the second free spin the column ran all the way to the scarab, with a Gigantic Wild reel among its Power-Ups. That was the only retrigger, and the round finished at x4 after 8 spins with €19.80.

Where the doubling jewel sits among the six Glyph games
Six games carry the Glyph name, though Quickspin never groups them as a series, and each has a Wild that turns up after a win to set off the next Power-Up. It came fifth by release, and it is the first with a capped win. In Golden Glyph 2 the jewel climbs by 1 per win to x50 and up to four can share the 7x7 grid. Its three buys run to 275x, and its top simulated win is 26,800x.
Golden Glyph (November 2019) started the line on that 7x7 square with a +1 jewel and no buy. Its sheet rates it 3 against 5 here.
These ragged reels came from Azticons Chaos Clusters, a game with no Glyph at all, a 25,000x cap and a 150x buy. In our logs its spins paid 25.8% of the time, against 29% for this one.
- Ghost Glyph, September 2020: Ghost Urns instead of Power-Ups, 7x7.
- Warp Wreckers Power Glyph, February 2022: the first Power Glyph with a TM sign, on 5x5.
- Candy Glyph, February 2024: the newest, back on the square.
Pick this one for Power-Ups on an uneven board, with a bonus that arrived about every 71 spins in our session. Do not count on the doubling to carry a round. It needs the whole queue again inside one free spin, and in our log those spins paid more than all the doubled spins after them put together.
Listings, lower models and the step from part 2
Two answers set outside listings against the game itself, one covers casino models and one the change from part 2.
Why does SlotCatalog call it a 7x7 game?
Its FAQ says 7x7 while its own layout field reads 7-9, and Quickspin says 7 reels, 5 to 9 high. In our 500 spins no first screen had seven symbols on every reel, and the count per screen ran from 40 to 56 symbols.
Does the 65x buy return more than normal play?
Quickspin does not say. Its page and sheet give the price and nothing else, while SlotCatalog and AboutSlots list 96.50% against the 96.11% of ordinary spins. Our one €65.00 purchase in the demo returned €19.80.
Can a casino run Golden Glyph 3 below 96.11%?
Yes. The sheet has 94.19% and 87.15% versions, and both keep the base game at 48.30% and cut only the free spins. The cap comes about once in 3,656,710 spins on the default and once in 11,396,955 on the lowest.
What did the third game drop from Golden Glyph 2?
The square grid, the Golden Scarab and the six Patterns of Horus, the jewel that grows with every win and the three buys. In their place come Chaos Clusters, four new Power-Ups, one jewel that only doubles, one 65x buy and a 10,000x cap instead of a 26,800x top.
